A single dark rose, stands in the moist cold dirt
Ray of light bounce off sparkling like a diamond ring
The layer of petals opened ever so slightly, to capture the warmth
The single dark rose is not only a simple flower
A Shining example of nature's beauty to take in little by little
To take in the tiny aspects of life that matter
The bud; your single fragile life to keep safe
Petals; numerous thing you done in your life
that will eventually vanish as the petals fall off
I look down to the thorns; the horrendous deeds done
That will never be forgotten for it pricks my mind

What a joke.

Such a lie.
I'm already gone, but you haven't even noticed.

A hollow corpse.
Most people say their parents are annoying.

Nicely done! And although I know the inspiration is different when he wrote this, still I can't help relate this to today's world, and my powerful urge to escape it ALL.... Very relatable!
